Phnom Penh police arrest more than 300 people in operation to crack down on a major online scam in Daun Penh district
(Phnom Penh): The Phnom Penh Unified Command’s joint forces have cracked down on a suspected location for committing a cybercrime at the Wyndham Grand Phnom Penh Capital Hotel along Monivong Boulevard in Sra Chak Sangkat, Daun Penh District.
The crackdown was carried out on April 12, 2026 under the orders of His Excellency Khuong Sreng, Governor of Phnom Penh City, and His Excellency Lieutenant General Chuon Narin, Deputy Commissioner and Commissioner of Phnom Penh City Police, including the Daun Penh District Authority, and with the coordination of legal procedures from Mr. Seng Hieng, Deputy Prosecutor of the Phnom Penh Municipal Court.
